Mike and Flo arranging some spring flowers..

Residents continued knitting squares for a group textile artwork, which will combine fabric and stitch. And also we finished fabric collaged canvases, by adding paint, surprisingly in solid poster paint sticks….you draw with paint, no need for brushes and water. Betty and Paddy helped by supplying ideas for our poster projects. Joining in the session were Marjorie, Gerald, Flo, Pat, Rita, Lydia and Norah. Click on individual photos to enlarge..

Valentine’s Party singalong with musician and songwriter Bryn Teeling, it was his first time to visit the Forbury and play and all our residents loved his music, not too modern and not too old. He comes from Wales and he was impressed with residents enjoying themselves and dancing! we will have him back soon!

Today Lydia, Pat, Edna, Marjorie and Hilda made delicious pizzas which we shared with everyone at tea time.
