Thank you to the ‘Hit Squad’ Ukelele band, seven marvellous musicians who started our party off….
Thanks also to Banjo Brian who sang and chatted for us, wonderful and entertaining.
Behind Colleen and her husband Randy, you see artwork made by residents from West Eaton, Waverley and The Forbury. A wonderful collaboration and joining of people and art.

Making mince pies!
Hilda A-S, Maria, Joan, Trixie, Kath C and David C worked hard to make mince pies and sugar-free jam tarts the day before our Christmas Bazaar. Hilda A-S used to work in a bakery and she filled four tins with mince pies and tarts for us, working at considerable speed. The pastry she made was again light and crumbly.
Thank you to everyone who came to our Bazaar and thank you to Hilda and to the other residents for the mince pies which were enjoyed with mulled wine.
A big thank you also to Muriel for selling so many raffle tickets and to several residents for making Christmas cards and tree decorations. We were also very grateful for so many kind donations of items to sell.
The Bazaar raised over £100 for The Residents’ Fund for The Forbury residents to spend on items of their choice.
